BEHIND NINOUR
Hi, I’m Inès: the hands, eyes & heart behind ninour studio.
I find inspiration in my French & Algerian roots and from the simple beauty of Mediterranean life : linens dancing on balconies, lemon ripening in the garden, long summer tables shared with loved ones.
ninour is more than just a name, it’s a part of me. Since I was born, my family has called me ninou. When I started this journey, I wanted something deeply personal, something that carried the essence of who I am.
The word nour also echoes the Arabic word for light, a tribute to my roots. To me, it’s about warmth, simplicity & the Mediterranean glow that has always surrounded my life. Through ninour, I bring together my heritage, my creativity & my desire to share beauty in its most genuine form.
MY JOURNEY
I didn’t start in art… I started in business. I earned a Master’s degree in International Trade and followed the path that looked “successful” from the outside. But very quickly, I felt the weight of living someone else’s definition of success. My body & mind told me I wasn’t where I was meant to be.
So I stopped.
In that pause, I returned to what had always been there for me: creating. Painting, shaping clay, capturing moments with my camera. At first, it was simply a way to breathe again, to feel like myself. Slowly, I realized it was more than a refuge: it was my true path.
For years, the dream of working for myself lived quietly in the back of my mind. One day, I decided to finally listen: ninour was born from that choice: the choice to trust my creativity, my heritage & my own rhythm.
OUR VALUES & MISSION
At ninour, we believe in creating with purpose. Nothing here is rushed, nothing is made to simply fill space. Every object, every image is shaped with time, care & a deep respect for what it represents.
Our values are simple: authenticity, intention & connection. We celebrate beauty that feels alive: in a handmade ceramic, in the play of light in a photograph, in the quiet poetry of everyday life.
Our mission is not to follow trends, but to honor what endures: the warmth of human connection, the richness of heritage & the timeless glow of the Mediterranean.
